The Ocean has always called to my soul.  It’s the only place I feel truly at peace.  Like a mother gently cradling her infant and rocking her to sleep in her arms.  Walking on the beach at sunset, feeling the mist upon your skin, feeling the sand under your toes and the gentle waves on the shoreline caress your ankles as you take an evening stroll. The sun is sinking slowly into the horizon as you watch the distant waves make their way to settle into the sand on the beach.  A gull is flying over head abruptly announcing the coming of eve.  Crabs are starting to scurry around the sand, scavenging for an evening meal.  You look down scouring the rocky shore for that perfect little shell to take back home with you, and there you see it.  A piece of Sea Glass is glistening like a diamond in the diminishing sunlight.  As you hold it in your hands, admiring its beauty, your mind begins to imagine the possibilities of where this gem of the Ocean came from.  Was it a sunken Pirate ship or maybe an ancient battle between two warring nations of long ago?  Maybe it was a person marooned on a desert island or a lover tossing a note in a bottle adrift in hopes his true love would find it.  You might have found a piece of Glass that was set to grace King Henry's super table. No matter where the Sea Glass you now hold came from, there is no doubt that the Ocean has graced your find with a gentle kiss and sent it off to settle onto the sandy shore just for you to find.  You have found a beautiful gift from the Oceans embrace, with no two pieces being the same, unique unto itself.  Once you have found these tiny treasures, you will forever remember that day the Ocean touched your soul.
