The Ozarks is where my inspirations come from,they take up the N.W. corner of Arkansas to the S.W. corner of Missouri my home state,being native born and raised,my art reflects the country life and wildlife, also for my Sculptures,drawings and country paintings,I just look out my window or when I'm out riding my horses with my collie Dukester following behind.I'm always stopping to pick up a piece of driftwood or somthing that catches my eyes. I never for a moment take for granted all the beauty of the woodlands that surround my home. My art,I feel is a gift handed down by my Father and Grandfather.Long ago before the days of computer graphics art,...my Grandfather would create the local grocery store window ads art,that was in the 50's,his real love of art showed in his wood working and Cabinet builder.My Father was a very talented portrait and wildlife artist.When ever I'm working on one of my projects..I can feel them both hoovering over my shoulder,probaly discussing all the new fangled gadjits we have today..."Oh! What I would give to hear that conversation." I have worked with polymer clays since 1985.My background in Art covers Illustrations from wildlife magazines to childrens books and editorial cartoonist in area newspaper.I have worked with acrylics-pastels too watercolors and sold my paintings all over the United States ,I can't imagine my hands not creating or a day without a paintbrush stuck behind one ear,that's how you'll find me most days,if you stop by for a cup of java.
