Social shopping is huge on FuzzB. We offer several ways for you to interact with your customers and fellow business owners but it is up to you to become part of action.
Why Socialize FuzzB?
Socializing is two-way communication online. It's similar to your customer or friend walking into your brick and mortar store. Most likely you would say hello, chat a bit and offer help. Or, would you sit there, wait for the customer to come to you and not even offer a hello? It is even more important online to communicate so friends and customers feel confident about you and get to know your product. If you are active and friendly online, people will swarm to you and will want to know more about you. Keep a positive attitude and your socializing efforts, coupled with exceptional products and service will yield a successful business.
Social Hot Spots
If you are ready to take the next step in becoming more active on the FuzzB Network, there are several ways to get started. You don't have to do everything - find what is most natural and works best for you and your business.
- Community - A great place to start. This is the main portal to most community activities. You can view the latest featured member and video, newest members, blogs, chatter and recent activity on the site.
- Blogs - This area is for member blogs only. It is important to read other's blogs and comment if you like what they have to say.
- Chatter - Engage in short chatter with friends and find those you want to follow.
- Latest Activity - This area will list everything happening on the network including newest stores, members, who's talking to who, updating their profile etc. It's another way to find new stores and friends.
- Trends - See what the FuzzB Team is up to and view latest articles. Have something good to say or teach our FuzzB members? Submit your article and get some exposure!
- Magazines - Read our magazines and stay in touch with business, art, living and more. You can even be part of the magazine team if you enjoy writing.
Adding Friends
It's easy to make new friends. If you see a member you would like to know more about, click on their avatar and go to their profile page. Below their profile information and picture, there is a box where you will find the Add To Friends link. It's important to have friends -- you never know who will enjoy your products, videos, or chatter and who will end up recommending or buying your products.
How Do I Blog and Chat
FuzzB makes it easy to blog and chat right from your MyFuzzB profile page. You do not have to log in to a separate account or maintain a separate blog.
- Go to your MyFuzzB profile page
- Chatter - Scroll down the left side until you see the Chatterbox - enter your brief chatter and click Post. You can also view your friends chatters and see your followers and who you are following.
- Blog - Scroll down the left side until you see My Latest Blogs - click the New Blog button and type in your title and text and submit. The blog will show up on the main community page and the blog page.
What Are Comments?
Comments are a cool way to say hello to friends, send a happy message or let them know you are thinking about them. You can comment when you are on a friends profile page by going to the bottom and clicking the Add Comment button -- type your comment in the white text box and click the Add Comment button.
Extending Your Social Presence
Once you get the hang of socializing on FuzzB, you can expand your online reach. The internet is saturated with numerous choices and talent and you have to constantly present your ideas and brand to online consumers. Entrepreneurs create success through hard work and effort. It's quite difficult if you rely on someone else or open a shop and sit there waiting for customers. Participation is key.
